Oh my goodness the colors and fabrics in these two just make my quilter’s heart skip! Actually, not just quilter’s, my regular one too as those are my favorite colors to wear right now too. Both are just beautiful! Like the comment before me, I get uneasy with projects unfinished so I try to never have more than a few UFO’s and generally don’t work on more than one quilt at a time but things come up and I don’t always quite stick to it….but I try! I too get seduced by new projects and fabrics–something I’m hoping to rein in a bit in the coming new year! I enjoyed the introduction of you and your hobby!

Hallo Judith,
bei mir ist es so, je länger etwas unfertig liegt, desto nervöser macht es mich.
Allerdings wohne ich alleine und kann auch alles liegen und stehen lassen, wie es mir passt.
Ausnahmen wie deinen Flying Geese Quilt gibts bei mir auch manchmal, da brauchts dann mehr Zeit und auch immer das Gefühl, dass es grad richtig ist/ gut tut weiterzunähen.
Auf dem Bild mit den kleinen Quilts an der Wand hängt eine Fledermaus, die mir soo gut gefällt. Kannst du mir sagen, wo ich das Muster/ die Anleitung bekomme?

Judith how nice to „meet“ you! To you and your hostess Annette – welcome to To Do Tuesday! What a lovely post. Your quilts are both lovely, and especially the Flying Geese and its sweet story. Ach Judith – die letzten 18 Monate haben es uns nicht leicht gemacht mit Inseln für Nähzeit.

Projekte im Wachstum zu haben ist auch was feines. Ich hab oft keine Lust, ständig das gleiche zu tun🙈 und dann brauche ich Abwechslung!

Ich wünsche dir für deine Projekte die Muße, die sie brauchen. Alles Liebe!
